Make sure you tell the broker it’s very complicated and that’s why it’s $10/mile:)

How can you get a 60 foot load under 75 feet over all length? I'm almost 75 with a 48 flat and no overhang.

    cke Thanks this.

I’ll be honest, Georgia has always confused me.

I’m 75 overall at 48’ trailer. So, what do the large sleeper guys with a 53’ do?

    cke Thanks this.

Worst case scenario - burn $50 on a permit and at least you can say you tried.

I’ve ordered permits for states before and had them tell me it’s not needed, when I was sure I did - and other states will just take the $ anyway.

I’d rather be safe than sorry - but good Lord, the wording over 48 states is any thing but clear cut.

This is why I carried a conditions sheet or an old permit for each state in a binder(with notes) and consulted the binder regularly.

Good advice - I have all the provision sheets, but need to organize my old permits for easier reference.
