A couple old friends of ours used to run lumber out of a place in north Louisiana in the 70’s. Because of the near impossible layout to back up to the place. They had to be loaded from the front of the trailers. So they had to pull head in and then 90 it up to a dock with the glad hands just missing it.

Holy Moly, I've got to sit down, you got me dizzy. I on the other hand suck at math. But if you'll show me the dock and get outta the way I'll put it in there. Sooner or later.

    Lol... That's ok.

In high school I failed Trigonometry becuase I couldnt see a reason to why ibwould need to figure out triangles and circles... Once I got into college in machine shop trigonometry, it all clicked and made sense... Because it wasnt just little shapes on paper... It was real life parts that I had to figure out how to cut accurately to within .0001 of an inch.

Now calculus on the other hand... It still dont make sense to me. They lost me at "imaginary numbers"... Phfffpht!!!

Not all the time, being sarcastic sometimes embeds the advice that others give and the experience gained to prove the sarcasm is wrong.

I learned by being told 'park the *****ing trailer in the dock or we don't get paid' and I had to learn not to hit anything or not get paid, it was that simple. This was a time when you didn't eat if you didn't get paid.

I would agree but sometimes the only stupid question is the stupid question.

Stop overthinking it, practice with a truck and trailer is the only way to learn it and practice it often.

Two tries to get it close. Then the passenger side was off the dock bumper about 3 inches so I pulled up a little and got farther under it when I backed up and got it square. I very rarely hit any of the docks on that street square. It will probably be a while before I do it again. Lol

Pi is 3.14156295 or something like that.

Learning to cook my own steak and cheese pie - much better learned knowledge.
