95 Kenworth t600 12.7 Detroit with a 13 speed. I’ve replaced the tachometer gauge with a new one, new tachometer/ speed sensor. And I’ve gone through all the wiring. Still can’t get the tachometer to work. Any ideas?

Amtek replacement tachometer?
I have 95 379 with 12.7. Amtek replacement wouldn’t work. Friend sent me a used Peterbilt guage. I returned the Amtek.
Still no idea why it wouldn’t work. -
blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Did you set sensor correct? Usually all in, then back off 1.5 turns and set jamb nut.
Test continuity of wires. Resistance of sensor. -
blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Measure the resistance of the sender under the truck and then plug
it back in and measure the resistance at the plug where it connects
to the tachometer. It should be the same. Also make sure there is
power and ground at the tach.
