    you will like it there.

i turned them down only because when you bed down for the night (or day), you give up your truck, never know what you'll get when you're back on duty. so you have to clean everything of yours outta there.

now at least, that's the way it was a few years ago, when i turned them down.

better than some others, but you will earn it. they used to own a new car dealership in the hometown. they used to give good discounts on vehicles to the employee's..

i personally did not like the overnights they required, nor the switching out of trucks. this is why i knew back then, not too many Pylle drivers had cb radios. from what i gather they treat the employees well.

but i just cannot take overnighters, and never will, since my long haul days and being away from the house weeks at a time.

if i were younger and just getting started, and they offered me a job, i'd take it.

but when you're old and set in your ways, many times, you decline.

I think A Duie Pyle makes around $26 an hour and get OT after 45 hours. From my understanding, they get A LOT of OT...like over 60 hours per week. I never really seen them pulling doubles, so they may be one of the few LTL companies that don't use doubles for Linehaul. I think they might of been Union at one point, because I heard that they had a pension plan, but I'm almost 100% percent sure they're Non Union, so it's probably a 401k plan. Benefits I think is around $40-50 a week for family coverage...but I could be wrong on this. All of this is based off a conversation I had with one of they're drivers about a year ago when he was making a delivery to my barn and from what I heard about them in the past.

And also, apparently from what I've seen, some of their trailers are multi functional too, because not only did they have a tuck under liftgate in the rear, but they also had a reefer and fuel tank on the trailer too. I'm assuming that they do refrigerated work or temperature controled freight as well... but this is just an assumption though.

That’s a messed up company name, so maybe skip that.

Most LTL carriers are the same. Slipseating, lots of overtime, stops and dock bumping.

I read that they have both 401k and defined contribution pension plan. Which is better
