Yes and I stayed there 6 months longer than I should have , I think some companies are using this down market as a tool intimidate drivers into just tolerating their bs and lies and their take it leave it attitudes .
I refuse to tolerate it , one of these days the the market will come roaring back and many like me will remember the seeds they planted when the market was down as they scream bloody murder about a driver shortage that they helped create .
FCC , HILL BROS AND HUMMER could call me tommorow and offer 5.00 a mile and I'd hang up on them.

There’s LMF’s (liars & MF’ers) everywhere you go, but a lot less of them inhabit that world— best of luck

Went to the clinic today to take my drug test for new job ( same clinic hill bros. Uses ) lady at the counter says wernt you just in here and I said yeah for hill bros .
It was just the two of us and she went on to tell me the insane turnover hill bros. Has and how it's normal to see ex hill drivers back in a short period of time doing drug tests for their new employer .
Definitely not the same hill I drove for in the early 90s .

I started yesterday and it's easy work with nice equipment.
45 mile haul between 2 elevators running mostly country roads .
Just press a button to open and close the tarp , scale in scale out , grab the load ticket and go .
Open gates and dump....it is a bit dusty tho .

Dust beats gridlock and idiots, just don't use anything like Armor All on the interior, that dust will stick like glue.

Sitting in a dock getting unloaded, inner drive sounded weird when I thumped it, a little low. No problem, I gotta hose, I'll put a little air in it.... broke the stem out of the wheel.
