    unfortunately where i live, there’s a distinct lack of of any sort of dedicated freight unless i missed something. The Schwan’s plant here in town hasn’t had its own fleet in forever. They contract their freight out to all sorts of other carriers.

    i know of some dedicated stuff in Topeka but that’s 110 miles away. Don’t know about Wichita

    I didn't say it was the best, I just asked if one flavor was any good!

    :p

    On that note...today I saw Chili & cheese Frito flavored Jacklinks jerky. I'm not curious about that one.

    We have a jerky shop here on the sandbar, it's not very good. Tooth break tough. Not worth the price they want for it by a longshot.

    I'm not a big jerky eater , once in a while is enough for me .
    Since I got going last Wednesday I've done nothing but run from the alpena sd plant to the underwood ia plant back and forth ..all drop and hook .
    Our little ice storm has me running behind about 10 hours which at first concerned me until I figured out the rest of the fleet is running late too.
