What do you do for backhauls? Do you have to pick up at random meat plants or do you just transfer between JackLinks plants? Running back and forth between New Glarus and Underwood would be pretty sweet. I live right off US 151 Northeast of CR, so I'd be driving right past the house.

And it looks like you are pulling reefers? I never was a fan of reefer work, but that isn't necessarily a dealbreaker. Do you have to wash them out?

I also have family up by Minong so that would be cool to get up there once in awhile. Haven't been up there in years.

Well in the 5 weeks I've been here I've only hauled 2 non jack links loads and they were easy on easy off loads , wash outs are mostly done by the shop in alpena or at any blue beacon where they have an account .
Mostly all plant to plant drop and hook and they don't bat an eye at deadheading 300 miles .

Makes me wish I lived up that way. But only until I realize that I don't care for winter.

Yes it gets dam cold in alpena but they're trucks are well equipped for cold weather with arctic fox fuel heaters in both tanks , espar cab heaters , 50/50 blend terminal fuel and can idle below 32 degrees.

@Kyle G. , I called the HR lady at stans whose name is Tammy and she said that CR will work depending on what you are looking for in home time and to give her a call.

Right on, thanks man! I did send in an application through Indeed. I will call her today if I don't hear from them first. I do have several other apps out there for different home daily stuff, but it's pretty slim pickins in the home daily market right now.

    Will keep ya posted.

Too bad the Omaha area is too far to commute to and from on a weekly basis

The omaha market has become really slim Pickens for a decent driving job as well.

Well 6 weeks in at stans now and have got a feel for things here .
Pros : they keep you very busy with mostly drop and hook , home alot , nice equipment, will max out your hours in about 6 days and go home , good pay and benefits.
The only con I can come up with is the operations and shop people have the personality's of a bucket of drywall mud ....but I'm not here to make friends so I can live with that .
