I want a topper for my truck but I'm not sure if I should look for one or just build one myself. If I go the topper route, colors doesn't really matter much to me. An 8 foot box is certainly a lot more useful if it's covered. I would love a 2500 Suburban but they're expensive for good ones Screenshot_20251217_221412_Gallery.jpg

Mine is a 2500 with the 454/4L80e combo, strong puller but man is she thirsty! Gotta watch out for the gen VI 454 though, the fuel rail is plastic and they're unobtainium.

Mine's just a 350 but it has 4L80 as well. Towed 7600 lbs a couple weeks ago with no major issues. Is yours 4x4 or no? Mine is. The only issues with mine are that the A/C doesn't work and it'll need new tires eventually, neither of which will be cheap to address. Just rolled over 190k the other day Screenshot_20251218_051616_Gallery.jpg

Nice looking truck! I would invest in a sto bought topper to make her look really great. I like them LT Wrangler tires as well. Just put a new set on my Z71 and they certainly ride nice. They should though as they don’t give em away.

My Goodyear's are pretty worn, down to 6/32nds on most of them and they're 6 years old. I'm currently juggling a few different options for replacement. LT tires are more expensive and I'm not sure I would really make full use of them. I'm looking at $1,000-$1,500 out the door regardless of what I pick
