He was probably trying to, but his student couldn't see him in the mirror over the glare of your lights.

anymore, i'll just turn my brights on.
i'm actually thinking of having my fog lights refitted with 10,000,000 candle power spotlights. -
Like I said he needed to mind his own business....scottied67 Thanks this. -
man...this is the whole reason why truckers are going out and buying 1,000 lights to put on their trucks. Its the whole "well if he's doing it, i've gotta do it.......and if we're doing it....it must be cool" attitude. its rather pathetic.
why dont one of you be the professional driver, and just turn your lights off?? why dont one of you have the least bit of courtesy for the other, and turn the lights off? why is it so hard???Fewe Thanks this. -
I like to turn the headlights off as soon as I cross the boundary into the truck stop as a courtesy for the other parked drivers who are ending their day, eating their dinner, doing the paperwork etc. On my mentor's truck the switch is in the middle of the dash area and he would angrily reach over and flip the lights back on and say some derogative comment about it. I told him in the Marines we drove at night in combat situations without lights AT All. Captain Obvious always good for a comment would say "we are not in combat" -- no shat sherlock?

What really pissed me off was his cigarette smoke drifting into my cab.
If I remember in a TS to turn them off while I am parking I turn them off. This guy was backing straight to a trailer.
BFD!
Someone is hooking into a spot I make sure mine are off. -
if cigarette smoke wafts into my truck, i'll be sure to light up a cigar and blow my smoke into theirs. =)
