Well I guess celadon is no longer an option lol
Still very confused on who I want to start off with. TMC rejected me, didn’t give me a real reason but from what I understand and heard they highly favor Vets. Which is fine i’m not worried about it. SRT is interested in me but won’t run my complete app until I actually hold the CDL, but from what i’ve told the recruiter she says I should be accepted easily. I love their banking of days concept. Stevens is still in the running, I’ve heard bad things but I do well at making the best of any situation. It won’t be forever anyway, just looking forward to my future goals. Schneider tanker division also is interested with an otr position out of dallas. Also applied with prime but they wanted my tax docs from when I was running my detailing business. I declined and told them I didn’t want to continue with the process. I still have to follow up with a few companies though. This is a pain in the ###.

Schneider tanker or SRT will be ok to get started. Both have tuition reimbursement.

They'll use Reefer for keeping a load warm. Don't want it too cold.
    CocaCola is a hazmat load.
Schneider don't allow intelligent life forms in the truck. Deal breaker for me.

If you want to stay local in my go to Lewis transport it’s gas hauling but really good pay for either o/o or company. Great trucks too!

    Ok, I tried to behave....
@Frank Speak , would he count, or would only native born Kentuckians be delicious?

It really depends on how refined your tastes are. For me, only a good, 100% Kentuckian will do.

OP Update: Tested yesterday first try and passed, YES! So relieved honestly, my school was a third-party testing facility but they were still intense and by the book. Still unsure of what company to go with but my decision will be made in the next week. In the running (In order)-
    Magnum
    SRT
    Schneider
    Stevens
    Werner

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    Congratulations on the new career!
Just my opinion, but I'd put Magnum first and SRT 2nd, so I think your on the right track for a good paying career.

That’s my plan, I still have to talk to Tony over at Magnum after Christmas . They were not hiring trainees when I submitted my app but I got an email a few days ago basically saying I should re-apply as they had some new openings pop up. SRT has full orientations until the last week of January so it’s a little wait but still a top option. Thank you again for all your help and advice. @Chinatown
