And again is the 80% as a w2 or 1099?

My percentage is 29% of the gross to the truck (which generously contains my employer’s fuel surcharge) but he’s a good guy like that.

Currently, I’m operating through a lease agreement with a carrier, but as I mentioned, by the end of the month, I’ll be fully independent.

Yes, here you’re responsible for covering expenses like fuel, IFTA, truck rental, tolls, and scale fees. However, if you’re smart and follow the company’s guidance - such as saving on fuel, minimizing tolls and scale costs, and driving responsibly - you can earn a pretty good income. And Maintenance is covered, so I don't have to worry about it till next month...

    Who’s financing the truck?

    I still won’t trust you, I don’t know you.
I don’t trust anyone. Family will screw you more than a stranger, you won’t let anyone else get that close.

We’ll that’s a non answer. Is the carrier AG Express or you’re working for someone that is leased to AG Express?

Been running with AG Express for 5-6 months now. The Rent 2 Own program is pretty sweet. No money upfront, and they take care of thetruck. I get to keep 80% (that's a lot more thanany other company before AG was payingme...) of my loads.

So you’ve been running as a 1099 or a w2 employee. No deflection. In the 5-6 months you cite were you a 1099 or W2 employee. This requires nothing more than a one word answer you’ve yet to give despite being asked directly several times. And if W2 what was gross for 2024?

I am renting it from them(till the end of this month, then I'll switch to financing it), and the trailer is included, along with maintenance and other helpful services (only when your renting it). There's a lot more to explain, but I believe I’ve covered the main points. If anyone needs additional information that I haven’t provided, I recommend giving them a call. You’re not committing to working with them by reaching out—you can simply ask any questions you have.
But if you want information from a truckers perspective that is currently working with them you can always message me.

I’ll also add that being in a rent to own situation you are NOT fully independent
