Air Compressor cycles between 115 and 125 psi

    My air compressor come on at 115 and goes off at 125 what would cause this do I need to replace the Governor

    This. I usually set mine to kick on at 105 and cut out at 120, but 115/125 isn't bad IMO.

    Yes it a problem purging every 30 seconds normally should be coming on at 95 psi not 115

    If it's dropping 10 psi every 30 seconds that truck should be out of service

    You all were wrong it was a bad governor change out it an problem fix.

    I just replaced the valves in the dash about a month ago. It would leak down from 125 to 100 in about a minute but you could hear it in the dash. And if you pressed real hard on the buttons it would stop. Pretty sure the Bendix one in there that was leaking was a Chinese knockoff. The new Bendix one had Bendix stamped in like 6 places where the old one had it labeled Bendix in one spot.

    But I see yours was a bad gov
