First, new drivers get pay crap because they don't have experience. We are talking 18 cent per mile *knight*
Now I can do at least 550 miles a day. Average 400ish depending if I'm getting loaded that day.
550 miles times 18 cent is $99 a day.
Now we are not gna count detention pay, tarp pay, breakdown pay because you make your money driving. If the tires ain't moving, you're not making money.
Unless you work for walmart, you don't get pay sleeping in a truck. Just pure miles. Idk about you but $99 a day kinda suck.
Now there's another company that pays higher. So do your research and please don't join c.r. englandDominick253 Thanks this. -

A recruiter will have (or has had) a field day with this one.
Recruiter: "you can make up to $40,000 your first year here"
Response: "so I will make $40,000 a month here? Where do I sign?"austinmike, Longarm, Toomanybikes and 2 others Thank this. -
Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Second, regional does not imply that you are unloading your load. It means that you will be staying in the same geographic region, or in other words, your loads will range from 101 air miles to about 1,000 miles. Nothing that will take more than 2 driving days to arrive. You can have regional that are drop and hook only, and you can have long distance that requires you to unload.
Although I am sure the rest of your long comment has similar inaccuracies, I don't feel like taking it apart, piece by piece. -
As much as I love reading patty's frequent posts on the woe's of the trucker, I can't seem to hit the unwatch thread button fast enough.
rbrtwbstr and Dominick253 Thank this.
