Am I too short to drive

Hello. I am considering going to truck driving school and I am also 4"11" . No shame in my game . Trying something new, and I'm pretty darn excited. Good luck on your journey as well

Truck stops are now installing toilets specifically designed for Crete drivers.

 

My wife teams with me, and she's 5'1". She just gets a lot of annoying comments about how people are surprised she's a truck driver. I resist the urge to comment something back...like "well I'm surprised you got a medical card, you purple-legged potato."

 

I am quite sure I will be teased but oh well imma make that money

 

Bad analogy. That was one thing I remember having to get used to even as a guy. Lot of people are curious about drivers mostly good but some bad so you get stared at a lot.

 

The actor who played the stick-horse riding midget cowboy from the film Happy Gilmore completed the program at the trucking school I attended. I doubt he was much taller that three foot.

Chances are pretty good that there won't be a clutch in your truck.

That said, as others have mentioned, seats in modern trucks are adjustable to a large degree.

I am short for a man, 5 foot 8 or 9, with short legs for my height. I have a 27 or 28 inch inseam. My seat allows me a very wide range of positions that allows me to easily reach all the foot pedals.
