Looks like they salvaged what they could before the truck went up in smoke.

Engine overheated? DPF clogged? Fuel injector/fuel rail leak?? Who knows!

The comments on that article's page are complete trash.

"I told everyone this would happen when EVs hit the road."

    Sir, it's clearly a diesel.

"8,000 pounds? That's maybe only two pallets worth."

We don't know if it was palletized, and generalized consumer parcels (product boxes) are a lot of air. 8,000 pounds could be a total loss for the trailer.

Lol this country knows everything, and everything is political.

Not surprising, given the quality of tractors and operators hooked to their trailers.

They rate from merely “can’t speak or read English” to completely brainless… I’d say a good 95% of them should never have been allowed near anything with wheels.

    ducnut Thanks this.

Could be a rare but true case of trouser lightning.

These amazon trucks are a menace, day to day. This whole race to the bottom, with the cheapest power only options is getting really old.

Good to still see you around, BTW, Chinatown.

    Anonymousproxy and ducnut Thank this.
