What are the thoughts on the real agenda behind this? I don't think it's good.

I’m not sure there is any agenda.

We all know little will change, but it’s nice to see an intelligent, humorous and concise breakdown of what problems plague our industry.

It's how they get the general motoring public to accept more traffic deaths in truck related accidents due to "self driving" trucks in my opinion.

Heh nothing good for us will come of this. What you will see happen at "best" if anyone actully CARES is re-regulateing the industry. Pushes for self driving trucks, more restrictions on speed, truck ownership and lease options negitivly affected because leaseing to a company and leaseing to own sound so simular. Pushes to unionize trucking so the unions can steal even more money. Some oh deary me we so sorrys from a few big megas. And even more "safety" devices and cameras crammed down our throats and shoved up our #####. Hell i can even see them regulateing what we eat, and how much.

The general public thinks of your average trucker as too dumb to get a normal job and as mostly social outcast trash that needs to just die because we cost them 2 seconds on their trip to work last thusday

    Well put.

I wish they would have interviewed the guy that forced these people to go work for a terrible company. He must really have some kind of leverage, to be able to get people to take a crap job and then stay in it.

Then there's the people he forces to buy trucks, and sign on to companies where they have no control over their business. He's got to have something over them, to get them to keep going until they're bankrupt.

Now to top it off, he's actually able to force people to sign on to a lease/purchase. The information is readily available with just a basic internet search about how bad these deals are, and has been for decades now. Yet, this guy is somehow able to force people into them. What does he have, is he holding their families hostage or something?

That's the guy we need to find, cause we all know nobody ever makes these bad decisions of their own free will.
