If he needed to turn so tight, he could have shortened his wheelbase by raising the bed. Not highly recommended, but have had to do that a couple of times now at places where I had to dump. In fact was so tight that the U-turn this guy made would not have been possible.

I sort of agree olhand, however it's an end-dump, he may have had to be on that street, dumping just before it at a construction project. It may not have been due to a stupid turn on the driver's part. These construction companies needing material do not take into consideration how much room a big truck needs. They just want their material dumped right there in that teenie-tiny spot. When you ask them how do I get out of here, they get this real blank, stupid look on their face, and reply with , well, uh, never thought of that...

You mean those weren't drivers. As far as the U-turn that isn't amazing skills. That's PPP. There's 2 kinds of Tub drivers. Ones that have and ones that are going to belong to the "Tip the Tub Club." Ask how I know.:biggrin_25521:

I completely understand Eaton--AND I still disagree(sorry ol buddy)this coming from a long time big truk LTL guy--IMHO--even if they wanted the stuff spot dumped right behind where he made the U-Turn--the answer is to BACK DOWN THE STREET--therefore putting the assend of bucket right in same spot and NOT stressing your equipment--and or tearing stuff up--may not be easy but it is what it takes--ask me how many times Ive backed down 2 1/2 blocks in Bklyn--against traffic to make a drop--cuz there aint NO way out on the other end--LOL

He should made use of the driveway on the left side, with that little wagon he'd have been able to get around w/o that uncalled for jacknife. I'm with olhand, if that's my truck, he's down the road kickin' rocks! :biggrin_25511:
