Still...even if it is a partnership..our efforts would benefit Wylie profits, and I don't want any part of helping those ####bags prosper...and after my last experience with them I hoped they'd go down in flames, then rot in Hell for an eternity. I truely believe that SPD management have been forced to sell their soul to Satan...all in the name of profits. And probably told to put on a positive happy face about it or be terminated.

Our extra lights on the OD loads are magnetic battery powered lights that can be bought at any truckstop.

I like the Firefox brand. Put them in gallon baggies so they don’t get wet and they last a very long time. They take 4 AA batteries and they last around 12 hours on a set in my experience.

MT and WA, yes. Couldn't make it to Iowa before dark yesterday and my IL permits says anything over 10' is daylight only unless escorted, so I had to stop short of the IL line tonight...now, of the permits I have right now(didn't print and review WV and VA) I believe are daylight and or speed restricted, along with NC being daylight only. It doesn't matter at this point. After seeing the Wylie infomercial, giving a #### and I aren't in the same hemisphere.

I built my own wired set for doing super loads at night. They usually
Aren’t worth the effort to set them up for a few hours before or after dark.

Well if you stick with it you’ll pick up ways to be more productive. I was in iowa and parked at the shop by 2pm yesterday. I’ll be at the Illinois line buy 30 min before sunrise tomorrow if all goes well. Shut down in Newton because of the wind and rain.

edit to add: don’t be one of the many guys who beg for od work during the summer and refuse to do it during the winter. We already have enough of those.

After today's YouTube surprise, I have no interest in expanding my skill level here beyond where it is now.

After the holidays, I will put all Daseke companies in the same category as Acklie companies

I’ll just throw it out there for simple suggestion, you should really look in to end dumps, particularly JK Williams, @motocross25 can attest to what they have to offer, their equipment is impeccable, and they hire out of Florida, the money is good, and there’s little to no BS like you deal with in all other facets of trucking. Ive been doing it for years now and can’t see myself doing anything different, genuinely trying to help you find a good fit.
