I did have one thing that put a smile on my face...before Albuquerque I came up on a red 579 mid-roof with a Wylie sticker on the door...and he got to see the passenger side of my truck as I passed him by...my trailer's tail lights were the last thing he saw of me and my Volvo.

Probably because they are titanium. High value. They want the tarp to kinda hide the product. Less theft. Or at least that was the story they used when I hauled copper plates.

That's what I was thinking too...not sure where someone would sell 2 17,500 lb pieces of titanium, but I am sure there is a market for it out there somewhere, but as scrap, it's only going for $0.35/lb, so it would have to go to someone who uses titanium, and has a facility to process it

Drove a 70 mile an hour truck last night. Yes an ABF truck. Got the finger as I passed a couple drivers last night.

I used to pull out of a couple different places down there for System and run them to Missouri and Alabama and I think Texas a time or two.
