Ok... Peoplenet is officially a nightmare (like we didn't already know that). Yesterday, on top of not having PC, my Yard Move tab also disappeared. This morning when I go to start my day, both were still missing. I get thru El Paso and thru the border patrol checkpoint, and stop at the next rest area for a nap (this cold is still kicking my ###). When I went to log a quick load check and then go to Sleeper...both were back, and were there all day until I stop for the day, east of San Antonio...and both are gone again. I will check with the Peoplenet customer excuse department tomorrow when I get to Gulfport.

Well 20,225 miles and 48 days later I’m back home. I’m taking the next 9 days at least off. Might even get some decent weather here in Missouri next week.

Saturday until Monday I will be doing my 2nd 34 of this week...flatbed in the winter....ohhhh boy.

I think that might have more to do with speciality freight, I’ve been surprised how busy I have been over the past week since I’ve headed out. Even picked up a 14 foot tall 9 foot wide load today to run over the weekend…I expected it to be a bit slow myself. Here’s hoping your draught is short lived.JoeyJunk, Lonesome, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

That's what this Wylie "partnership" was supposed to help with. Less broker loads, more contract freight...but it's still early in the process. And the way I've been feeling since leaving home, I may just have him send me home and go see the doc and see if I have the latest brew of the beer flu.JoeyJunk, drvrtech77, Itsbrokeagain and 3 others Thank this.

@kylefitzy where in MO do you live? My wife and I are planning to move to Jackson if our house here in Florida will ever sell.

I live on the direct opposite side of the state just south of Kansas City off of I-49.
I got my license working for a company called Semco Stone. They are based just north of Jackson in perryville.
ten years ago it was a pretty gravy gig as far as flat bedding goes. They only hauled their own products, straps only. THey didn’t carry chains or tarps. Paid on a salary and most guys were home a few nights a week or every night. The only slight downside is you often had to load and unload your truck at the yard using a forklift. That’s actually my preference though. That’s all 10 year old info at this point so YMMV.austinmike, D.Tibbitt, Trashtrucker1707 and 1 other person Thank this. -
