I should have known emojis don't work here. Anyway, that teriyaki place is delicious, or it was. Spring the couple of extra bucks for the spicy.

Well, I set the APU battery monitor at 12.2...truck's low volt cutoff still shut things down. Upped it to 12.4 and recalibrated it to the trucks voltage on the dash display, still no auto-start...so, I rack up some APU idle hours on the fresh oil change, I'll just leave the sucker running all night, every night. When I hauled reefer freight, I hated having to pull an unreliable Carrier reefer unit, seems their APU's aren't much better.

fighting these storms up here in the NW part of the country. Came down through Portland now they are going to keep me heading south all the way to ABQ. Heading to St. Louis with this 10k pound, preloaded, pretarped, 14’9” tall oversize. Gravy and extra mile to keep

I am in a similar situation, only not hauling a permitted load. I decided to go I-90 across to Sioux Falls then turn south because most of WY was closed and under a blizzard warning, and the forecast for them after the snow storm passed was for high winds. I got to Post Falls last night, and as of this morning, I-90 in the eastern half of SD is closed until tomorrow according to Google Maps. Plus there is a snowstorm coming into SoCal this weekend, they're talking snow in areas that don't usually get snow down there...glad I am not down there, those yahoos can't drive when the sun shines let alone put snow on the road. Woke up and it was 6°, and a slight breeze, glad the wind died down from yesterday. If it would have been blowing like it was yesterday, the wind chill would have been double digits below 0 like it is in north east WY (Sheridan was predicting wind chills to be in the -30° to -40° range) -
Desperate times call for desperate measures...it's gonna get cold enough to actually break out the toque, but I lost the directions on how to use it
