Don’t give away all the good ####. I’m heading that way on Thursday with a double drop, maybe with a flip. But I’m going to lovely San Francisco.

After it took until after noon to get the Jenga puzzle load loaded so I could secure it, I may not be going all the way to Goodyear. My travel agent said if we can get all the Cali stops off, we may see about dropping it at Rancho...either way I am cool with it, I kinda torqued my back a bit because my winch bar doesn't fit the holes right on this conestoga's tensioners and as I was getting one more click to close the gap, the bar kicked out of the adjuster(the seals arent the best on the front rack, so you have to give some persuasion). So a 34 before unloading the final piece(yes, one 200lb piece, 20' long) is all I would be taking from southern Cali to AZ, so if there is something else it could be blended with going that way, that would make sense.

Does your bar have a lip around the end, if so Wichita or Arlington can fix that design flaw for you.

I get to pull one of the new flats tomorrow. 11’4” wide 250 mile move. No tarps!

Yeah, it's got the lip, but this is the first one of the old style conestoga it hasn't worked with...

No tarps would be the highlight of the trip for me.

I had to strap a load of aluminum logs last night. I said to myself, it could be worse....I could be tarping one of SSBs loads......

Today’s mission on one of the fancy new aluminum flatbeds. Well they would be fancy if they had central tire inflation, spare tire racks and strobe lights. Maybe next time. 4BEDF1EA-B5F6-4D88-93E0-9B6041EFC7E3.jpeg

Are they gonna add strobes later(if there is available holes, or eventually put a conestoga on those?

And if you're bringing that load down I-5, Mt. Shasta is back under a winter storm warning from 7 am Thursday thru 16:00 Friday. Expecting another 18" of that white nastyness. Northbound was shut down today due to weather and wrecks, and they had the chain law up from Weed thru Shasta until noon today.

Well aren’t you just a bunch of good news tonight! I delivered that 200 mile local load and bounced back to the yard. After some training at KW I’ll load a truck late tomorrow and probably head south Friday morning.

as far as what they are going to do with these trailers, who knows. Doubtful they will get tarp kits, we usually send those trailers straight to the tarp kit installer. We used to install our own Quickdraw kits, those were #### good trailers.

there are three tail lights on each side so they could make one of those into a 4” round strobe, but they probably won’t. 100 million dollar company and I’ll have to bungee battery powered od lights to the back of these trailers. I guess it’s a Good thing I only run strobes where needed. Ga, mi, tn, co at night, nm at night (I think).

13500, but it’s self supporting and blocked on each end. These trailers are rated at 90k fully distributed. I think it might have taken 1/4” of arch out of the trailer. Maybe.
