Seeing scenes like that makes me glad I live in FL...yeah, we have hurricanes, but you get a lot of warning unlike tornados.

I’m in Little Rock loading for Webster SD and I’ve been keeping my eye on the storm. They keep expanding the blizzard warning area. I’ll be going up thru there right in the thick of it, which I can tell you right now, ain’t gonna happen. Hoping to just make it back to KC, swap trailers and do some stuff around town, and then head up after the storm. I haven’t spent a lot of trucking time in South Dakota so I’m not very sure how they are on snow removal and road treatment, but there’s not a lot that can be done I wouldn’t think when they are calling for over a foot and 65 mph winds. Be safe out there.

    3.5 million / 19 years = 184,000/year or 3,542 miles per week average.

Day started out great. I spent the night in Three Forks, MT. Got up, showered and had one of the most delicious raspberry pastries I've ever eaten (it was as big as a Cinnabon). Got rolling good until Livingston where the roads went to crap. At one point an empty dually hotshot decided to go uphill too slow and I had to really drop gears to find one where I wouldn't boost over 15 psi to keep from breaking traction. Got past Big Timber and the roads were clear and dry until about 40 miles south of Hardin, MT where they were mostly wet, snowing like a mother, and drifts starting to cross the road. Some already had the left lane blocked. Made it south of the WY P.O.E. and pulled into a small nice little truckstop in Sheridan, and this is where I camp out until either 25 or 90 opens. Right now 25 is closed from the 25/90 split down north of Cheyenne. And 90 is still closed from Spearfisher to Wall, and the app says expect it to be days before it opens. I looked at the cameras on 25, and it ain't pretty. I did look at the other routes I could have taken, 15 down thru SLC to Orem is clean and green, and 6/191/491 is green as well. Although grossing 76k, not my 1st choice of roads.

@kylefitzy, do they have any problems with me rescaling this load? I was 33,500 on the trailer at the Petro in Spokane. But I have several inches of ice all over the underside of this trailer. I knocked a bunch of it off, but I am not dedicated enough to crawl under and knock all the ice in between the frame rails...not sure how much more weight I gained, but would hate to get an overweight ticket just because mother nature wanted to hitch a ride. I pitty anyone who is tailgating me once I start to melt.
