No problem. Too many people figure that if you argue with them that you're attacking them. They get defensive and the brawl starts. That happens a lot on here.
Arguments are fine if each party states their case and let's it go at that. With most people, you're not going to change their mind by arguing with them and you're sure not going to change their mind by insulting them.
Too many people would rather fight with each other than think something through.

We only run the best equipment here. Should have Made them get a second escort in CO because they are running trailers with out strobes.

Well, it isn't quite May yet, but I have already seen my 1st triple digit temperature. On the way from Goodyear to Calexico it was 103°. I didn't feel like transferring freight from the transfer truck to my truck in that temp, especially since I had driven 4 hours, delivered, then drove another 3 1/2 hours to get near the pickup location. I spent the night about 10 miles from the pickup. As I was pulling in the truckstop, it was 107°. This morning I think I experienced a minor earthquake. It wasn't windy, and my truck woke me up rocking. I peeked out the windows and there was nothing around me. Then a little later I was sitting down on the porcelain lazyboy writing a letter, the building started rattling like it was right next to a train track, and the stall door was rattling against the latch.
This load is a full 'driver load' job. The place they transfer the product is a road service and repair shop that has rental parking spots for semi's. They bring the loads over the border in a ragged dry van with bolt seals and park it. If you need, they have bolt cutters for the seals, then you open their trailer and back your trailer up against it and drag the boxes of blanket insulation from their trailer to your trailer, secure it then pull out. 100% on you to move the load....and before -you know who asks- yes, the driver is paid extra for the 'lumper' service. I had it done in a little over an hour and was rolling. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Now I am off to see the wizard in Arlington.
Even with a week at home this month, I have managed to hit Diamond level on my Love's card. As of right now, my Nag-a-gator's monthly odometer says 9097 miles, and I am planning on running around 600ish day tomorrow.Last edited: Apr 30, 2023
