Along with a diesel leak...there could have been a big hole in the ground where his truck use to be.

Boy running the trans Canada highway across bc and Alberta really makes you appreciate how much better the roads are in the states. 12 hours to do 675 miles and only half of that was on the TC. The roads form Sweetgrass to Calgary were pretty respectable.

Dang...I've only ever run the eastern part of Canada, never been west of the U P of Michigan.

A first for me too. First time in Alberta and never been past the very south west part of BC.

Our new camera watcher won't be making any friends at his new post. He has gotten the approval of our safety chief to restrict use of the Subaru to when he is in his command post. All because there are some dents in the car...dents that have been there since before I started. So now, no after hours use of the car. As my fleet manager, I liked him...as the gate renta-cop, he is already starting to be a major "richard", or a "donkey orifice"....one can hardly wait to see how much of a prick he'll be nitpicking camera events.

On a different note, my unloads went fine today. My delivery of the building went fine despite the customer is just your average homeowner who rented one of those large tera-handler off road fork lifts for his project, and it was his 1st time using it. He actually did better than some of the operators I have had that had been doing it for years. When I got to Arlington, I was told by the planner that I was supposed to be hanging on to my trailer after we unload the farm tractor, my newbie dispatcher was supposed to have told me that, but I haven't heard a peep from him about it. I WAS gonna drop that trailer in Dogwood and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Louisiana, BUT the customer called and put the loads on hold, then called back a little later and cancelled the loads entirely. The planner said this is the 2nd time in a week they have done this, and he wasn't happy. Now I will be pulling an empty container down to Boeing to load going to VA...maybe, it that doesn't fall thru. Not holding my breath.

The step I’m pulling has can locks built in. That sure would be handy for you, and dang sure would be handy for the tall cans I haul on double drops.

Air pressure and I have been having a battle this week. 3 flats that I had to plug. Then my shop installed blow gun started leaking so I disconnected it from the air hose. A few hours later the #### quick connect fitting blew the guts all over my floor. Cheap piece of ####. It currently has a pair of vice grips pinching the line off.

High quality equipment we're getting in now it seems. Did you ever get your slowing cruise control issue resolved?

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.
