They say a lot of #### on the forum and in orientation/securement class. Most of it ain’t worth a darn. The only issue you will have breaking an aluminum rub rail is if you’re pulling out on something wide. That will rip a rail off with the chains barely tight. Pulling straight up is no issue. IMO.

Hey look, it’s the truck that was originally ordered for me. ####ing #### #######.

A hell of a lot better looking truck than the Gawdawful Grey they're getting in now (I think thats the official name KW uses on the order sheet) ...all except the stacks up the front of the sleeper...those should be between the headache rack and the back wall.Last edited: Aug 14, 2023
kylefitzy Thanks this. -
That would have made so much more sense, as far as the stacks only one works anymore and unless you have the big boy Cummins sadly you no longer need two…kylefitzy Thanks this.
-
And given the weight he hauls sometimes, the big boy Cummins would be a better fit.

Yet some of these college educated folks who have never driven much less see the inside of truck know more..smhGearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.

my 880 at work has two stacks, only one is functional.lol

They look better in front of the sleeperSons Hero, Lonesome, kylefitzy and 1 other person Thank this.

So there’s no chance of you moving into one? Given the RGN’s you pull it will likely help reduce the wear and tear assuming they ordered the thicker frame.
Heck maybe just break your T680 frequently enough and they’ll get the message. Or maybe you’re getting enough light freight that your current truck is working out?Oxbow Thanks this. -
No chance. What I’m in now is what the whole fleet is getting, no exceptions. That truck is for sale at KW in Marysville, wa. The only way I see anything changing is if we ever try to dabble in 4 axle work. Not impossible, but not highly likely.
