Calm before to storm? I’m 41k as I sit, should be around 107k all said and done. If their weights at right. Working the math I have to get the COG of the load 18’1” to 23’3” from the neck. The piece is 15’ long so hopefully the back is heavier. If the front is we are kind of ####ed because their bay won’t be long enough for me to pull in to load. IMG_5673.jpeg

If your new truck is anything like the KW I got out of, 107k lbs will give it a terminal hernia. These cookie cutter fleet trucks they're ordering aren't spec'd to pull that kind of weight. I see a clutch failure or transmission failure within 100k miles.

Not if that paccar motor doesn’t go out first. Surprised they didn’t put a Cummins in it

Too heavy. They are shedding every pound they can so we can get to where we can haul 48k lbs.

I am gonna stop washing this POS Volvo. I am getting tired of playing "which circuit won't work this time". A while back, the camera for the collision nanny system initially quit, but came back several engine restarts later. Last time I lost all the marker lights on the trailer (but still had tail lights), ended up being a fuse...this time, no power windows, power mirrors or mirror heater, but have door locks (which are on the same switch pack, but must be on a separate circuit), they came back after I shut down the engine and fueled but 60 miles later, the imaging camera for the nanny system tripped again. It doesn't happen when it rains hard, only when I get it washed...it must be allergic to being clean.

Yeah we blew a turbo when we experimented with the “fleet” trucks running heavy spec freight. We were a bit north of 107K to be fair

It’s not that it’s allergic to being cleaned, it just really disapproves of being power washed.
