You did all the rewiring? That's the difference between a truck driver and a steering wheel holding short bus driving academy graduate...good thing you're not color blind.

Yes I did. Luckily this flip axle has a junction box for all the wiring. That made it super easy. If I didn’t need the flip I could also back feed through the 7 way plug on the back. Which is basically what I’m doing, back feeding the flip that’s back feeding the trailer.

fixing the wiring is a pretty simple job underneath if you can get over a pit. Problem is I’m 15’ wide and can’t get into most shops.

The front section of the harness should really be replaced. 7 splices down low will be a corrosion nightmare in a year or two.

Also #### XL for hanging the harness and air lines from the bottom of the cross members with plastic zip ties. At least Pratt runs everything through holes in the crossmembers.

Someone has to make up for the guy who had loves install his new wipers last week. Lol.

Probably the same type guy who insists on using the 'tire inflation' service at the Love's instead of investing in a decent tire gauge and -sticking- his own tires....that service, BTW, was something Wylie was paying for after they digested Moore (before they turned off the Prepass subscription).

We had it “free” included with our loves fuel discount. Only problem was, no one at the actual loves stores seemed to know what I was talking about. I tried two or three times, then gave up.

The craziest part about the whole deal, they berated us for throwing a fit about losing Prepass,(they claim that if we were doing a proper pretrip we shouldn't fear having to pull into a scale), but then starting paying for the tire service to make sure our tires were safe....which is part of the proper pretrip...then turned down our trucks and restricted idle time on all trucks (including non-apu trucks) to save fuel...'but pulling into every open scale wastes fuel' we said...total hypocrites...b.s. like that is why I was so leary about being involved with them here...

Lol some of us have old knees and get paid to use the TirePass. I have an air hose myself of course, but when I have the time nothing like having a twenty something use their young knees to check my tires and getting a couple of cups of coffee out of it :)

Get to 1st stop, a small construction site...pull up to the construction gate to check in. Broker info says 8-1500 appointment today. Talk to the subcontractor's employee, and they don't have any type equipment to unload their freight. He calls his boss and apparently CH Robinson got the wrong info for this delivery...wrong jobsite. Talked to the sub-c and he gave me the right address, 10 miles away. Come down the road and...it's a new (or addition to) an existing elementary school, and it was "drop of the crumb crunchers" time. And, in a very tight residential neighborhood. Couldn't get into the construction entrance, had to unload in the street...and the roads were so narrow that if the mailboxes and utility poles were 6" closer to the road, my trailer wouldn't have fit. Had to hang the outside dual off the pavement to make a tight left turn, then back up in front of the construction entrance driveway and he drove out to get it...and it was loaded out of order because I have a stepdeck and that was the only way to get all the crates on so it could be tarped... so he had to unstack to get to his last 2 big ones... fortunately they have very understanding neighbors.

Sounds like fun. I’m waiting on a new pilot car here in Mississippi. The one I’ve had since Utah is having brake issues. Should still be on site tonight. I’m going to get up at 0500 and untarp when it’s still cool. Just kidding, it’s going to be over 80 all night. It seems I run the south in the summer and the north in the winter.

It was similar when I did my 34 at the Gulfport Love's over the weekend. It sucked waking up at 4 am to use the porcelain recliner and get hit in the face with a burst of heat when you opened the door to walk across the parking lot.

This is where I am parking tonight
