You couldn't do worse than a certain driver that had a loud mouth and is now a planner. Was somewhat surprised when I heard about @supersnackbar Fm going back. We talked last week and his reasons were solid for him and his family.

Room to spare since you have an APU...in most states at least.kylefitzy Thanks this.

Yeah, it took me longer than expected, the weather from Quartzite to Palm Springs was fun. Between the wind, the dust storms and the rain, it was a royal mess.
My dashcam can see thru the dust better than the human eye...from my perspective I could only see a couple hundred feet. And when it rained in Palm Springs the road was a brown river, you honestly couldn't see any lines or even the shoulder at times. And of course it cleared out just in time for the Banning scales. But 10 minutes before I get to the yard the skies opened up. Randy and Ken were tarping another driver's load as fast as they could, then when they got it covered...it stopped raining. We waited until this morning to finish my load since some thoughtful driver left his torn up tarps on the trailer for the next guy. Which happened to be my load. The guys had it covered and secured enough to stay on until morning, then we knocked it out in a jiffy. Can't tell ya' how much we appreciate how much those guys do for us OTR guys.
Will catch up with ya somewhere down the road. I had put in for hometime for the 15th with the new macro, but not sure I did it correctly. I asked my soon-to-be-former travel agent if he saw it, but I never heard back from him, so who knows. It'll work out -
We really are lucky to have guys that care in RC

It hasn’t rained at home In 10 days+, living 1 and a half miles off pavement is a real ##### trying to keep a truck clean. Stopped in effingham and they even washed the tarps for me, for an additional $10 of course. The “Alfalfa Express” rides again!

Hope when you get that big can loaded they aren't sending you all the way west with it. Between the intermittent storms and dust storms my truck looks like it has been #### at and hit. Things are so dirty and rainy out west, they cancelled the rest of Burning Man and told the hippies to shelter in place because it is a muddy mess from hell.

Actually the folks at Burning Man are trapped, twice this year I’ve been in Vegas and experienced torrential downpours, glad to be headed East, though unfortunately with an OD tank…
