I like the J-plates to, especially helpful keeping a tarp tight to the deck compared to tarping around straps fed thru the rub rail. I just hope they provide us with an adequate number of them.

Plus I see more risers on the bottom trailer.

Not to be a nitpicking prick, but shouldn't the middle trailer have some sort of securement of it's own...it would suck to have it slide a little forward which would loosen up the top trailer.

Already got my outbound load info. Pick up in St. Petersburg on Thursday going up by Pasco, WA by next Thursday. 50 pc of some kind of fabricated steel products. Looked at the shipper on Google Maps and it doesn't look all that big of a place....but the best part...NO TARPs.

I probably would have put another strap over the top, he only had 6, and two over the middle. I really dislike hauling stacks of three, unless you x chain each trailer to the one below it on each end, you’re depending on friction to keep everything lined up.

I believe every step is getting one, possibly two risers. They are coming in two per trailer and leaving the yard with one. So of course there is a big stack of them in Arlington. Makes a lot of sense. Wylie has two on their steps.

I also got my next load. An elevator to CA, only problem is I don’t have the hours to pick it up tomorrow. Only two hours on my 70 and I don’t get anything back until Thursday so it looks like a good time for a reset. Kind of sucks because that would have put me at 12000 for the month with 5 days to go.

The trailer that CNC machine was loaded on had a riser in the front of the lower deck...and the way everything was loaded, it ended up being one of the sharp edges that put a small cut in the tarp.

I was thinking that some x-chains would have been a safe addition, but I tend to secure above and beyond what's required. Heck, at least put the straps on the inside of the rub rails that way they aren't damaging the DOT reflective tape before we even take delivery.

I wonder if they offer hazardous pay for this delivery. It is delivering to the Dept. Of Energy in Richland, WA

Was it an elevator load out of the Cincinnati area or Joliet?

That one's definitely better than the one in Joliet. Kone is the better of the two elevator companies we pull

The one down side of living in FL is the poison ivy is much stronger than when I lived in OH. Up there I could roll in it and never break out. Down here, this is the result of my hurricane cleaning.

If I look at it down here I break out. This is gonna be a miserable weekend.

Looks like you need to take a bath in some Calamine lotion. That looks like a serious reaction SSB. Please be more careful and wear long sleeves and gloves.
