Signed. They are rolling skip real bad on 15 the other day, that’s the channel we mainly use on the east coast for escorts. I hate having to use the cb for escorting.

Well I have my marching orders.

rollout around noon tomorrow, pick up a container in Wichita to deliver in SC on Monday. Bounce up to NJ to load a container going back to WA. So my next 10 days or so are covered.

Lonesome, dwells40 and Winnyf1 Thank this.

Email address is probably a verification so they don't get some people signing dozens of times.

I'm actually gonna be in Wichita before noon tomorrow. Not bad, leave SoCal at 11:00 pdt, and at the consignee 1385 miles later in 46 hours.

    Lonesome and dwells40 Thank this.

Go ahead and chain that container down for me. Haha.

I’ve thought a bunch about trying to get on that lane dedicated. Other than SoCal it’s easy wide upended running. If you can’t get into La during darkness it’s not so bad.

I ran dedicated weekly out of Wichita to On/qc every week for two years when I first started. Turned a lot of miles pulling a quickdraw with this junk. IMG_0543.jpeg IMG_0608.jpeg IMG_1933.jpeg

Got empty this afternoon, headed back to the yard to pick up a preloaded load going back to Cali. It needs to deliver by Wednesday, but since I only have 3 hours on my 70 until tomorrow midnight, I am gonna chill here at the Wichita yard and get a 34 in, then bust bucket to Cali and deliver Tuesday morning.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

Well I had a pretty productive home time doing things the shop should have done before they issued this truck. Moved the airlines that were a tripping hazard, replaced that with a tarp that’s usually in the way. IMG_5957.jpeg IMG_5985.jpeg IMG_5988.jpeg
Built a set of ramps, repainted my od mirrors that were all rusty from the last truck that used them, replaced the absolutely pathetic work lights with some led ones(it’s 2023, why are halogen lights even still an option), and added some more lights under the bunk. I also built a chain divider to hold 8 16’ chains in my step box. IMG_5955.jpeg IMG_5925.jpeg IMG_5987.jpeg
