Yeah we are a bit slow in that department. Some of our main customers are winding down already for the holidays. They are still moving though. I know of two 16 wides leaving tomorrow, a 15 wide out of wa on Monday, and a couple of supers in the planing/hold stages.
    this is very true.

And to be honest, the OD regulars deserve to haul the few OD loads we have (if they're in the right place at the right time)...

Fortunately it was in TX, definitely not something I’d do in OH lol.

Air leak fixed. It was caused by one of the 3/8 air lines to a transmission valve for the splitter being a few inches too short and it was pulled at a slight angle. And after almost 200k miles of vibration and slight movement when you are on and off of the throttle wore out the push connect part of the fitting. I tested it by cutting the line and adding a push connect splice fitting in the line, giving it a little extra length, and it still leaked. Went to Freightliner (since it was on a Eaton transmission) and got a new fitting and a new longer piece of 3/8 air line and it's fixed. I also found a small air leak on the bottom of the slave cylinder (it has both a hydraulic and pneumatic line going to it)...it had the same issue, only a smaller leak. I cut the zip ties pulling it off center and found enough slack in the line to straighten it out and ziptie it back up. Built pressure and shut it down. 90 minutes later, I had lost 3 psi.... And it cost the company a whopping $14 and change(including sales tax). I know, I said I wasn't gonna fix their equipment any more, but it's not in my nature to go that route, no matter how unhappy I am with some of their decisions.

Don’t tell anyone, we all occasionally have to do morally questionable things. IMG_3134.jpeg

Now I wonder, will Drew call you up and praise you for properly and successfully avoiding an accident thru your proper defensive driving abilities, or only calls drivers when the camera catches them doing something they need to correct.

    JoeyJunk and dwells40 Thank this.

There is one your drivers just up the street from my house tonight. A silver SPD KW hauling a stretched out trailer with a long load. Beautiful Husky dog in the cab with him.

Just of x34 on I-84 in Lords Valley, PA. Saw him there when I went out to the store. He dropped his trailer so I imagine he is there for the night and wanted to stay out of the way being as long he is.

Oxbow, dwells40 and kylefitzy Thank this.
