He might not like the resident company dogs...if they're allowed in the new location.

Not only are they allowed at the new yard, in a round about way they introduced us to each other. The dogs scared her up into the undercarriage of the mechanics pickup.

Haven't seen any of my permits yet...they already know the dimensions on stuff we've hauled before, so I can't imagine they're waiting on me to confirm the size before they get them. All I am picking up are reverse thruster pallets.

Sometime you have to hunt for #####(cat), sometimes ##### (cat) falls in your lap.

I can't believe we can say piss, but the profanity filter blocks putty-tat(as in I thought I saw a putty-tat)

Well, things went a little sideways with my OD load....I was supposed to pick up empty pallets for thrust reversers...unless this is just a weird looking empty pallet

    IMG_20231116_155540.jpg

It is actually 1, 750 lb thrust reverser... I checked with the OD guy this morning before I found out about the load issue and he said they do indeed need size confirmation before they pull permits. Good thing they do, when I gave the shipper the number and that I was supposed to pick up empty pallets, he said the pallets were shipped yesterday. He went in and checked, when he came back, I followed him around the building and he loaded this... It took a little while for Ops to get it all straightened out. Turns out there was some sort of paperwork snafu with Boeing and I was supposed to pick this up all along....only 1 piece going from SC to Calexico...fine with me. But...I ended up tearing 1 of my Oversized Load signs...I inherited signs with the built in bungie cords and I tried to make it fit the ### end of this aluminum trailer in such a way that it wouldn't block the tail lights or the license plate. I ended up digging out some self tappers and screwing whats left of it to the base of the pallet, there is just enough height to be able to read it from a distance. And the load is only 11'6" wide instead of the width they put on the load info. Just wide enough to justify taking up 2 spots at a truck stop.
