Lol yeah TX is always special, it’s no Ohio, but you do get to see plenty of countryside when you’re OD…

Well, things have changed a bit. I am no longer picking up a conestoga then coming back to Calexico to load insulation blankets going to WA. The Rancho Honcho called and said he was working on something else. Then just before I delivered today, he messaged me and said hang loose at the customer, Boeing is booking something out of Calexico (from the same warehouse) going right back to where I just came from in N. Charleston. Got empty, then checked with the same guy...but I didn't notice the date. I was thinking it picked up today, but today is "Revolution Day" in Mexico...a national holiday. I re-read my load info and it loads tomorrow. Another OD load, only not as big...so hopefully it won't have the same curfews as the load I brought in. I only wish I had a trailer with rear strobes.

I’m not sure this new co-driver is going to work out. He is always sleeping, when he’s awake he tries to eat my food. He clearly has no interest in learning how to trip plan, the peoplenet, or how to shift this automatic.

I think I’m putting him out of the truck after thanksgiving. I think he would have a better life as a house/shop cat. IMG_6182.jpeg

Read your permit but you should be fine in az (under 10), nm, tx(no restriction unless you need escorts), La(no restrictions), ms (noon wed-Thursday), Al( thurs and Sunday), ga(thanksgiving), sc (thanksgiving).

Just have to keep on them to get you all your permits before the state offices close. Most of those states should self issue though.

Gotta confirm the size once they come across the border, then he'll get them ordered. He says they booked the load at 10' wide, but wants a confirmation before ordering.

I brought home a dumpster cat a few years back, he must have got in to some radioactive Oreos or something because at just 2 years old he weighs 20 pounds, what a cool cat though! IMG_1167.jpeg

I've got an 80 lb Pitty at home just like that except when she decides to lay on you to sleep, you take a nap too whether you want to or not.
