I wish. Polyp on my bladder that requires being put to sleep because of the location. The route being taken to extricate said polyp is, well, it should be self explanatory

I understand completely. That's the same route they had to take when I had a kidney stone lodged below my left kidney...and I couldn't get Mrs. Snackbar to kiss it and make it better either...:biggrin_25513:

@kylefitzy, since we don't have a full time weekend dispatch, what do we do when we can't make a pickup that I would have to leave for before the office comes in. I told Uncle Travis that I had to have this work on my air drier fixed when they come in on Monday. When I dropped that Canada load and did my workflow, another load popped up out of The Dalles that has to pickup by 10 am...I don't think I'll make it, and nothing popped up on my Peoplenet until I completed the workflow for the Canada load.

Update - I got it straightened out. I messaged Uncle Travis...well, I messaged the number on the D.O.G. that was Travis' cell...turns out, it's a typo, that number is actually Scott's, who is in charge of the super-load fleet. He sent me Travis' cell, and I got a message thru to him. The load is a pin-point delivery at the San Diego port going straight on a ship...but it requires a TWIC card, which I haven't been home long enough to apply for. So, Travis said he messaged the planning team...and said nothing was assigned to my truck as of the time he went home on Friday, so it was added after he left...they should at least txt me and tell me I am on another load, that way, if I can't do it, they have a chance to find someone who can before we screw up a pin-point delivery appointment.

They do usually send preplan to the truck. I believe that’s one of the FMs jobs. It has to be done manually.

They are still trying to work some kinks out with this updated dispatching software. From what I hear it’s very powerful (the info the can collect) but it’s also particular. Everything has to be right or it kicks the load back. I would had every third load I’ve had, once I complete my last stop, it resends the same load back to me. I think it’s passage aggressively asking me if I would like to “try again”.

On the weekends we have a FM that covers during the day. Usually. If you can’t get ahold of them using the 1-800 number you can call Travis or Chubby. Both will help and have the power to get things done.

    Today's humorous story...kinda

When I was getting the air lines fixed at the Love's the other day. A CRE P.O.D.S. driver came in. Appearantly she thought she had a coolant leak coming out of her sleeper. When the mechanic checked it out, you know what it was? It was the sleeper's a/c condensation drain, and because it was so humid, it was putting out enough water to puddle under her truck while she was fueling, so she thought it was a leak. (She told the mechanic that this is her 1st truck driving job, and she has only been solo for a month or so)... didn't stop them from charging a fee to 'check and advise' though.
