I hope it comes with a Timmy's code, or at least a gift certificate, but that would mean I would have to run up where there are Timmy's along the Canadian border.

I would say the odds of this getting approved are pretty good, at least from the feds side of things. I mean, Pilot got approved to buy Williams and Flying J. T-Mobile bought Sprint and Metro. Swift and Knight merged, then aquired U.S. Xpress. Covenant owns and have assimilated a bunch of companies. The only real difference in our case is that TFI is a Canadian company buying up more US based carriers. Pretty sure they can grease enough palms in Washington to get it approved...the stockholders, on the other hand, are the wildcard.

Yeah I don’t see it getting blocked by the feds or stock holders.

already have my reload when I deliver on Monday. It’s a real shocker but I got a TMX load back to park city.

Boeing is really having 737 issues. 1st, they told their customers to inspect their 737's for a loose or missing bolt in the rudder assembly (kinda an important control surface), now, an Alaskan Airlines 737, that was just certified to be put into service 2 months ago, had a window and part of the fuselage blow out. Makes me want to fly Bombardier or Airbus. The 737 has been troubled from the start.

These Volvos still make me wonder...since they're on the metric system, do the Sweeds not know that water freezes at or below 32° F? The outside temp warning on this truck starts warning you about freezing temps at 35°(going up or coming down). And it is annoying when you're in an area where there are rolling hills where the temp is above 35° at one point of the hill and below it at another...and the warning covers the entire LCD screen. The KW had a small snowflake shaped indicator and a polite little chime when the temps got into the freezing range. Not Volvo.

Spirit aero systems in wichita ks are under investigation from this because they’re the ones who manufacture the fuselage..investigators are now looking into their operations

The most recent update is that it was a door plug or door blank that blew out...some kind of piece that gets put in where an emergency exit door would be if the carrier doesn't want a door...maybe they need to teach the assembly crews that it's righty tighty, lefty loosey. 1st it was a loose rudder bolt now this.

I always hated that about Volvos. OK, we get it, it's cold. I don't need my screen being obscured every time the temp changes one degree!!

Well, TQL has continued to send me messages. On my texting app, I can look into the blacklist numbers and it will show me what was sent and blocked. Twice a day it blocked their txt messages. One of the messages specifically said, if you are asleep on your break, call us and we will make a note about it....so they know they may be waking people up. I also get one telling me to download their app...which has already been done on day 1. I will be glad when this load is completed and I don't have to deal with their b.s. any more.

I’ve already told my company under no circumstances am I downloading any of their apps, especially TQL… It’s my phone, my bill, and considering the BS that you’re going through with the idiots it doesn’t shock me… The last broker I ran a load out of Yuma, Arizona and Los Angeles back to Houston They copped an attitude with me after calling me when I left Yuma, so at that point, I blocked him and blocked every other number all the way to the rest of the trip… Get tired of these knuckleheads
