Yeah, I was looking at the forecasts, there are flood warnings in certain areas of MT. Even Snoqualmie will just be wet after I deliver Tuesday, if that is where they have me headed.

Went to bed last night, it was 5°. Woke up and it was 17°. Got all the way across SD with the southerly wind and the only issue with the roads was between Murdo and Wall where it was just warm enough to where the blowing snow was sticking a little on the roads...there were a lot of drifts forming around the southern side of the bridge rails, but the rookie lane was fine. Hit Rapid City and it was 45°, so the warm air that was in MT yesterday has found it's way east...feels like summer after all the sub-0 temps.

Heads up across 90 in Washington. They’re calling for freezing rain through parts of today and through tonight… Spokane area is very slick this morning reports of numerous accidents on 90 in the downtown area… so far I have not hit any ice on any major roadway. They’ve been out saltingall morning but the parking lots exercise caution because they are a sheet of ice.. not sure what part of Montana will get this weather if they get it… Look out pass was sketchy last night

The world had turned on it's axis. Billings MT is warmer than my house in FL

Finally got the nanny cam to talk to me. Rolled down a hill and just touched 75mph...-bong- please reduce speed....scared the crap out of me the 1st time. Did it a 2nd time just to see how long it took her to nag...about a second or two at 75.

And by the way, I have a rant about these truck stops and their def systems. No Love's that had experienced these arctic temps have working def pumps. You would think that being in the northern most states next to the Great White North they would have them adequately insulated...not one station that I found has pump def. They say that Pasco, WA is up and running and I am going past there tomorrow before delivering. Otherwise it's boxed def from Wally, Lowe's or Home Depot again.

88 Alpha, dwells40 and Lonesome Thank this.

At the Temps things got to, especially up in the Dakota, it's not just liquid freezing that's a problem, #### legitimately breaks down at those Temps. Hell it may not even be the pumps that broke, but maybe the trucks delivering it.

me too, just finally got the nag to talk to me...she is like a pissed off wife :)

Did you get out of the house before the ice storm rolled thru? Caught a little of a storm chaser video on YouTube, it looks like 70 around Kingdom City got slippery

    Lonesome Thanks this.
