Thanks, the fuel desk here in Ritzville said that they thought they were working down there. I plan on stopping there in the morning before I deliver.

Going to be an interesting day. This low deck conestoga isn't the most water tight trailer in the fleet. Because of the way it's built in order to be as low to the ground as possible, the decking over the tires isn't the same aluminum deck material as the rest of the trailer, it's thin sheet steel so the tires have adequate clearance...and there is a gap between the inside of the steel and the other decking. Enough of a gap you can see the tires below. Plus, where the vertical step of the step deck mounts to the lower deck, you can see light all around where it meets the aluminum deck. So now, instead of returning this special trailer to the yard, they have me heading back to the Spokane area after I get empty to pick up raw aluminum. The place I am picking up at is very particular about moisture leaks....so much so, if you're picking up with a regular open deck and they see even the smallest pin hole or tiny cut in your tarp, they won't give you your paperwork until you repair it. I informed dispatch about all the water issues and how particular the customer is and he was told that we will let the customer decide if they'll load this trailer or not...and my unload customer doesn't open until 0800 and I am supposed to be back up to the next shipper before noon.(my PTA for today's delivery was noon, not sure why they even planned me on this to start with)

Gotta love when dispatch says "try it anyway." That never fails to end well.

Love's is a ripoff!!!! When I went in for a shower this morning, the Ritzville Love's had just gotten a general merchandise truck. On it was boxed DEF...since I was borderline on having adequate DEF to make it to Pasco, I bought a box...$35 for 1 box!!!!! I bought 2 2.5 gallon boxes from Walmart last week and together were just over half the price of what Love's just charged. That's worse than trying to buy plywood in Miami just before a hurricane hits.

I have noticed lately that Love’s has become quite brazen about screwing you over on everything you buy there.

Their own brand of DEF is only $23/jug, but they didn't have any available at Ritzville.

Save an empty container or two if you have room on your truck and the next time you fill at a pump top those off. Problem solved.
