Made it to Rancho yesterday and they were decking trailers for an equipment transfer to Arlington. (2 of the newer aluminum trailers on one of the old steel frame trailer). Then watched them play a life sized game of slide tile getting some of the rarely used trailers tucked away in the corner and the rest of the trailers moved around so there is a little more room in this postage stamp of a yard. It was said that there are some conestogas getting moved down here so they can pick up the blanket insulation loads going from Calexico to WA...I am guessing that is why I was put on a load down to here with this special conestoga... My MacGyver'd water proofing with the pipe insulation is still holding, I'm guessing. Since I put it in I have only had 1 day where it was needed. Since then, it has been the stereotypical southern Cali weather, sunny and warm. I think it was in the mid-70's yesterday and is supposed to be a touch warmer today and no rain is forecasted for the next 3 or 4, so getting this raw aluminum off my trailer is gonna be easier.

JoeyJunk, Friend, kylefitzy and 1 other person Thank this. -
that being said as far as I know, all 8 of the t800 wings trucks made it the entire time with the original headache racks. Same drivers, same freight, two wrecked racks in 6 months.
I hope they saved the other wrecked rack, I think we can straighten the cabinet and put the used door on this one. It won’t be perfect but it will be a reminder to me. -

It’s been a long time coming from the safety folks and Volvo is all in on it as well. One issue is what to do with older cars unless we mandate only new cars can be driven.
Of course they’re trying to do it to us in trucks so why not add 4 wheelers as well. I thought we learned our lesson back in the 70’s with the 55 mph limit. -
I spoke to our safety people today. My incident went down as a non preventable, same as the last guy, due to improperly spec’ed trucks.
I have to say, almost every dealing I’ve had with our safety department has gone better then I expected.
