Got my next load. Swap my flatbed for an RGN then head to Broken Arrow and pick up a specialized van and head to the PNW. Looked at the weather forecast all the way across and it isn't supposed to be bad all the way, even Snoqualmie is going to be behaving.
hope not dumb twucker, Lonesome, Winnyf1 and 2 others Thank this. -

The only concern I have with this RGN van load is the height. The load info says it's 146" (12' 2") tall... If the RGN I am picking up is a Manac then I will be around 14' 2". The other brands have a lower deck height. Won't know for sure until I pick up the trailer then go get the load. May have to let air out of the tires of the van to be legal.

I tell ya, some people. I get to my receiver early. Lots of trucks ahead of me so I go ahead and pull and fold my tarps, (which was challenging because it is windy here, as usual). Pull all but 1 strap off each stack of product. And since the line is moving along good, I hand the guy my paperwork and he tells me that I will be the next one after the guy that has just backed in...now this guy hasn't pulled his 1st tarp, still has all his bungies on...and he has straps over his tarps as well. He sees that there are people behind him so he takes a strap off, walks it to the front if his trailer where his strap winder is, winds it up and puts it away, then goes and loosens another strap, walks it up to his strap winder....etc. then he takes one side of his bungies, bundles them up and puts them away then he pulls all the bunties off the other side, bundles them and puts them away. Then pulls one tarp, folds it up, puts it away, then his 2nd tarp...now he is picking up his corner protectors...and hasn't pulled the moving blankets off the load so the forklift can start unloading. And mind you, he isn't doing this at an expedited speed...he is moseying along like he is on hourly pay. (Not an SPD driver). I know he has been backed in for at least an hour. I don't think the previous 3 trucks combined were in that spot that long...someone needs some Red Bull!!!!
