I had my fuel card hacked twice. Stopped fueling or adding the card to the loves and the pilot apps and it stopped

 

I had my fuel card and loves reward card hacked about 6 months ago. I also got my rewards card hacked a second time after replacing that card. My company were allowed to fuel at any of the major stops. I’ve used pilot flying j ever since never had any problems. I get reefer fuel at loves every now and again due to circumstances. So if they hack my rewards card again they aren’t getting #### since I have very little points on there

 

Loves should be able to transfer everything over. If not just tell them you lost the card and they will give you a new one tied to your old account.

I fuel pretty much exclusively at Love’s and have never heard of any of our cards being hacked. With all of the turnover, maybe someone is in your system… you know getting a little payback

 

It’s possible, but as long as I’ve worked here, we have had Efs card numbers getting stolen. A few years ago the stores couldn’t even tell us how they were turning the pumps on with no card, no pin, and only our card numbers. By the time the store figured out something was wrong, they were long gone.

as times get harder, rates go down, and fuel prices stay high, theft goes up. You can haul $1.50 a mile freight when you’re fuel bill is zero.

 

I’m glad someone’s working hard, because I’m hardly working. These short days are killing me. I need to talk my way into an oversize load heading west.
