Some of the carnage on I-40 yesterday. I am missing one my dashcam did save correctly. It was 2 semis one with heavy left front damage (basically the entire front left fender, part of the hood and some of the left front door pillar), wnd the other had passenger sided damage starting with the right side of the front tandem all the way up to a crushed fuel tank. Couldn't really tell what happened, but both were sitting partially in the left lane and on the left shoulder.

Okay I guess it’s my turn to be annoyed at Samsera. I did about an hour of on duty work and then with off duty PC for the weekend on Friday afternoon. Drove to the store and then came back and parked at the customer. I didn’t move the truck at all yesterday. I went to leave for the TS to grab a shower and I’ve been On Duty the whole time. It “lost” my PC status, I know it was correct when I drove to the store on Friday. IMG_6601.png

luckily it reverted to ON duty and not driving, I was able to edit the BS away.

The system sounds as bad as Peoplenet, wow your safety team needs to be on the blower with their technical team, their appears to be a repeatable software issue there

Lonesome and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this.

Oh believe me, Peoplenet is 10x better than this POS. And by what I have heard about Samsara customer support, you would stand a better chance of getting a frog to speak the alphabet, in latin, than getting them to fix this defective garbage. The only thing that would get them to do anything is having the FMCSA threaten to de-certify their ELD usage authorization.

Glad I'm not the only one having issues. Mine played "Where's Snackbar" on my post trip time again yesterday, then, it didn't go off duty when I was done (and put it in off duty). I went in to use the facilities and wash dirt off my hands from adjusting a few bungies and when I came back out, I was still on duty.

And now my fuel card is ####ed again. Tried to fuel at Pilot in Havasu. Their network was having issues. I kept trying to get it to go thru until it said that it detected unusual activity and locked me out and I have to go inside and swipe my card...which is still sitting in Arlington. Honestly, I don't think I have ever worked for any company more screwed up than what this company is becomming...Big G and Poly were less problematic.

I’m curious how they would have handled a card replacement on the road? Get Liz to overnight it to Rancho and have them add a via point through Rancho so you get paid for the miles. Or tell them to load you out of LA and pick up up after you deliver. Get with Derek (his preference is Text message because he’s quite busy) and I’m sure you guys can work out a solution.

Checked with Liz this morning, they're all having issues with the McCloud system right now, but by what she could see, my card was fine, it must have been the individual Pilot that had the issue. While we were talking, someone came into her office and told here the company's entire internet connection was going down, which includes the landline phone system which is thru the computer.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
