Only if you're using omnitracs hardware. Trying to use their "app" on any other hardware had the same results snackbar is having - at least when we tested it.

The problem he is having is common - the data is being recorded properly in the erod and looks good on the server but isn't getting translated right into the user interface.

I'm so glad that I drove in a simpler period. Paper logs neat and accurate. No computers to mess with or mess with your sanity. No cameras to keep watch on your every move. No sensors to constantly be sounding off. Companies that paid decent and included company paid benefits. Heck I even enjoyed driving the R model Mack's with Maxidyne engines and 65 mph was just fine. Life was a lot less stressful and more enjoyable than it is today. I have to give all of today's drivers a huge ATTA BOY for what you go thru. I'll just keep driving my Ram and 5th in retirement.

Dang you @supersnackbar your samsara luck is rubbing off on me. My logs were fine yesterday, went to certify them today and it moved most of my drive time to on duty. Check on my phone and it was right, a restart solved the issue. These things are a dumpster fire.

Delivery went fine but came up about 45 min short from having enough on my 70 to get home...but even getting home tomorrow I am still getting home before my requested home time, so I am not to bent out of shape about it.

Had a convo with my dispatcher today. He said we will be kicking Transflo to the curb sometime in mid-March. He said I need to start sending in ALL my paperwork when I am scanning things in, from the final customer. When I asked him how I was supposed to accomplish this since I don't fill out my trip sheet until after I am done with the load, and what about those customers where we're in a secure area and have to depart immediately after unloading or prohibited from using camera equipment (say at a military base or airport). He said do it later. I informed him that we can't add documents once we depart if the magic box senses we have left. He said he would inquire about that issue. I have a feeling I already know the answer. Between the "Karen" camera and the continuing issues with the magic box, it is starting to become a company I would have never even considered working for.

Sounds like the old days of paper logs.

The information was being recorded properly in the driver's head but his hand couldn't list it properly in his log book. Darn pencils.

Am I so productive that I can haul two loads at once? Nope, but the other guys ecm crapped out at 60k miles and I had to pull both loads to the next safe spot. Luckily we were parked in a turn out waiting out curfew. Unfortunately it was 2 1/2 hours one way to the next acceptable “long term” parking. Next closest repower driver was 800 miles away, so it looks like we are done for the weekend. IMG_6643.jpeg

I gather that either these two loads must stay together, or you cannot leave one unattended?

Correct. We have split up in the past at the customers request, but they wanted them together this time. We stay roughly together for Situations like this.
