Sounds like Wichita is a bigger version of Arlington in terms of LTL freight gathering and loading. Does it have all the comforts of home for the drivers as well? If I don't hear anything in terms of a load by the end of today, I may just head that way after I get empty.
So far, your description of people like Rick seems to be the norm for the majority of the people who work in the offices here.

Got a message from Brand X yesterday...they just don't get it.
They just can't believe that people who leave don't want anything to do with that god forsaken nightmare of a corporation ever again. Take padding. You’re picking up a part for a flame cutting table. Maybe a whole table but they are usually oversize. Maybe that will give you a 16x75 table. Or a 90’ table. That’s the larges single piece table they have built, I took that to Houston.
