The staff gets a percentage of the popcorn sales so we try to leave them open as long as possible.

You should start a FOOD GRADE tanker thread. It will be epic! More epic than WIIS.

Persakerly 3 years ago I was hung out for q few days with absolutely nothing to do but wait. I found TTR and started reading Snackbar, and after af few hours I determined, "no way"!! Then I found this WIIS. What could this sensless, endless, funtime diatribe possibly be about? After a few more hours of self examiniation and questioning my sanity for reading all of this, I said "Im joining these missfits for the ride" Have been here every possible day i can and most times more than twice! Yes I have strayed from the lane and visited other threads, but they just aint it. Dont scratch the itch so to speak. Lots of fun
and knowledge here for certain, really good bunch of people i lke reading what they doin. Keep it up Boys, ifn it bothers a body, then dont look at it.

I left Choctaw, OK 10 min before midnite last night (logbook time) and I shut down at the Love's in Moody, AL with 3 minutes of drive time (would have had more, but there was a 7 min delay in Birmingham)..710 miles, my 1st 700 miler since they further castrated my truck. Now the fun begins. This tropical storm that is building in the Caribbean is sorta forcasted to pass right over my county when it turns inland (if it doesn't change it's mind), then go out into the Atlantic and make a trek straight for Charliston for Monday night or Tuesday. I messaged my travel agent hoping they aren't waiting until Monday morning to find me a load, if anyone is gonna be working with a tropical system potentially headed their way. I haven't heard back, and the regular planner in Toledo is also out today and Monday, so who knows who is planning the east coast right now. I will have about an hour and a half on my 70 once I deliver...so hopefully I can beat any traffic heading back out of there before any weather gets ugly.

Never did hear back from dispatch about what is planned for Monday. They're expecting storms and heavy rain Sunday, Monday into Tuesday in the Charleston area, so once I am empty, I am moving inland. They're talking 4-6" of rain Sunday night thru Monday and Charleston tends to flood, so I am making the executive decision, once empty, I am out of there, they can get pissed if they want, but if this system strengthens even a little, that will put it into Cat 1 hurricane strength, and #### if I want to try to drive an empty conestoga in 70 mph wind trying to escape once they find a load next week. That's one of my biggest pet peeves about this place, the total lack of communication from Arlington is mind boggling.

Put it in the wind driver. I’ve done it before. That won’t say anything, you just probably won’t get paid for the miles. Good luck.
