Have you considered asking “hey the TP is out in the shop bathroom, I know you don’t use it so there is no way you would know that?”. I’ve refilled it many times. They used to keep extra TP in the bathrooms, overnight/weekend it would all go missing. Same reason they don’t leave the envelops and bols out. Wichita asked for a few cases of envelops, wa sends a single case. Drivers quit and they find 100+ envelops in their truck.

Anyway, I dropped my piece yesterday morning and headed southwest 750 miles to the Arlington yard to pick up a preloaded 12’9” wide going to Cincinnati.
My favorite kind of OD load, one that someone else loaded and tarped.

They just cut and run...who cares about the drivers here as long as their needs are taken care of...

and the last interaction I had with the management here in Wichita only proved that he is a perfect fit to the "arrogant standard" for the average Wylie boss... he'll fit right in when Wylie takes over.

It has been 9 months since I’ve been here to Arlington. They have nice new recliners in the drivers lounge. Also it appears one of the new guys left his orientation supplies/ snacks under one of the tables. IMG_7182.jpeg

You just have to remember, the controls on the new furniture is electric. I keep trying to put the footrest down like the old worn out stuff.

Yeah that was a little bit odd. Kind of nice but also pretty rigid. I do like the built in usb charger.

For those naysayers that believe that we aren't eventually going to become fully taken over by Wylie... we're one step closer...these are the tarps on the trailer I am picking up. He said these were on the trailer when he got it.... That's right, Wylie tarps. (And yes, I realize he has the front on backwards, it will be fixed)

It's skid steer day here in Wichita. At least half a dozen We-lie's and numerous outside carriers, but not one SPD pulling any. One Wylie must need exercise. He parked his empty trailer on the north side of the lot, and instead of unhooking and backing up to his loaded trailer before securing, he carried all his chains and binders (by hand) across to his loaded trailer...sitting here watching the same driver try to spread the rear axle on his empty stepdeck. He has been doing the same thing over and over. Chalk the rear wheels, drive forward (dragging the chalk), put the chalk on the trailer, back up, chalk the rear axle, drive forward. Tons of empty trailers here, I wonder if the thought ever occured to him to use a couple straps, tie around the rear wheels and then hook a strap to an empty trailer to hold the axle while he drives forward...(The reason I haven't helped is because there are Wylie drivers all over this yard like maggots on a gut wagon). A road service pickup truck just showed up to help...

So much for the Wichita yard being one way. Watched them move these concrete bollards over and block the driveway

At least they appear to be neatly tarped even if backwards
