If I could ever get my wife out of the warm weather, that’s exactly how I envision living. So far off the grid Seal Team 6 wouldn’t find me.

I have 0 cooling at any speed. I pulled the plug on the pressure sensor and the compressor stops. Plug it back in and the compressor starts and the cooling fan comes on for a few seconds then shuts off (compressor continues to run). I tried bleeding some pressure off the low side, but it rebounds when you turn on the A/C again. The crazy thing is, the high pressure line goes from the compressor to the condensor back out and joins the low pressure line (which then is routed into the passenger side fender well, then comes back out as a single line, splits off and connects to the evaporator block at the firewall.201773 and Knucklehead Thank this.

I see now that the Boeing strikers have rejected Boeing's "best and final" offer, Boeing has suspended their health insurance coverage. Good!!!! Just in time for cold and flu season.
And they're saying that this east coast port strike could do more harm to our economy than the Covid Pandemic or the 9/11 attacks. Personally, I think that qualifies as a terroistic attack, put them all on the terror watch list and ship their leadership to Gitmo. Some of the union members are making $100k+, and they're wanting a 70-77% pay increase? Totally unreasonable demands.Gearjammin' Penguin, navypoppop and Rugerfan Thank this. -
And fema is running out of money because of the migrants… #great leadership

One of my sons is the warehousing manager for a large Japanese owned import company in SoCal. They use the Port of Long Beach. He has not been affected by the strike at all. He said he was actually hoping for Long Beach to go on strike so that he could have a week of organizing his container locations and getting them moved out, by truck, to their 3 warehouses in Calif. His boss told him he didn't think it would go more than a week. We shall see.Oxbow Thanks this.

The reason the west coast didn't honor the east coast strike is because they are a different union, and were on strike a while back and have agreed to a different contract.

the head of that longshoreman union makes $789,000 a year as ahead of the union plus another 180 thousand as head of a local union office… He lives in a $6 million mansion in New Jersey
