We have them on all our trucks. Last winter I was glad to have one when I went thru that sub-zero stretch when all the DEF systems were freezing up. There is no way my Carrier's electric heat would've kept up.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Kinda made me nervous when they went to load me in Savannah. They had me spread my axles so the rear axle would climb the riser, but the tires on my front trailer axle were a foot off the ground while they were loading 10,000 lb tractors. I was waiting on the snap-crackle-pop from the rear skinny frame.

Managed to get both stops in MI kicked off and they routed me to the Toledo yard. Picking up a decked trailer load going to Arlington. I was expecting to be dropping my 2024 trailer and picking up 3 old trailers, but I am dropping my trailer, but picking up 3 other 2024 stepdecks. Ours is not to reason why....etc, etc, etc

“all” our new trailers get delivered to Toledo because they are built in pa. We don’t need any more old #### in Arlington, they are bursting at the seams with old trailers.

Sounds like a good opportunity to get a bonus load in with that stack of trailers. I don’t know how many loads I’ve tarped under or on top of a stack of empties. It’s super fun. IMG_2282.jpeg

Why in the ###% would have to tarp trailers?

I didn’t tarp the trailers. I tarped the steel, aluminum, and titanium we had shoved under the bottom trailer or on the top trailer.

I found out why. Apparently there are a bunch of OD loads coming out of WA, and they need stepdecks up there. So instead of Kathy having to find a bunch of loads out of this area headed to the PNW, the decision was made to deck a bunch and move them. Makes me no nevermind, I get paid to drive, whether they're loaded, empty or decked.

    Lonesome and kylefitzy Thank this.

I heard we had a bunch of 10’ wides going down to az. Easy loads but going to a bad area and not enough drivers that will or can do od loads.
