Probably a 880, similar to this.
I’ve yet to see an 880 that makes me as excited as my t-800. That being said, the 880 is a much more modern, driver friendly truck with some features I’m looking forward to. They just aren’t cool looking in my opinion.Speed_Drums, Lonesome, Rugerfan and 2 others Thank this. -
Yeah you get more room, but the closeness of the older cab’s a nice thing.
And of course the newest production will come with the digital dash which isn’t as bad as some make it out to be, but still not as classic as the old steam gages. At least you guys still run manuals, the fuel saving genie has visited us so it’s mostly automated manuals these days.Speed_Drums, Itsbrokeagain, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Headed home for our first hurricane of the season @supersnackbar ? Should’ve never got that truck wash

Depending on what I am picking up and where it's headed, I'll get there just around the time it's leaving. Our house is only expecting a couple inches of rain and a half a day of 40ish mph winds...another words, just another summer day for us.Lonesome, Itsbrokeagain, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.

I’m in Ocala, we’re already out of water and gas, go figure.
Lonesome, Itsbrokeagain and Bumper Thank this. -
It was originally supposed to come in between Sarasota and Ft. Meyers, now they're saying it's headed to the big bend or the panhandle. Where I live, the biggest threat is our crappy electric co-op where we lose power if someone farts too close to one of the lines.Speed_Drums, Lonesome, RussianBearTruckeR and 6 others Thank this.

Hope your place doesnt get hit too hard. Yall need to get a generator that autonatically comes on when you lose power as many tropical storms and hurricanes that come through florida
supersnackbar Thanks this. -
Unless you buy a high dollar commercial unit, there isn't one I would waste money on. One of the places my son worked had a whole group of people who's job it was to work on whole house generators. They were bigger and busier than those who did the a/c service and repair. Pretty much, most residential generators are unreliable junk. I have a 2000 watt portable, and it hasn't been started in years.

We had a generac at my old rental, that thing saved us twice the 3 years we were in there, one time for multiple days in a row. The owner of the home had his own contracting biz and he kept it serviced and maintained on the regular. Would run it once every 3 months for about an hour to get the fluids circulating, and change the oil once a year.
I think most people's issues stem from neglect. It sits for 3+ years and everything oxidizes/corrodes from sitting. I could've made a fortune with the amount of lawnmowers and other basic lawn equipment that just needed a simple carb rebuild or cleaning from letting old gas gunk it up.Lonesome, dwells40 and runningman0661 Thank this.
