I had to restart it Saturday 5x. Every time I did any kind of log entry (load check, off duty etc.) it logged the same location I did my pretrip. I had 5 or 6 entries all logged there.

As for working here all week, I bailed on them. Started off, the guard had to stop playing his X-box to hunt a contractor's badge so I could get into the bulding. (which he couldn't find). 1st load was sent to their offsite warehouse to bring back product. Incorrect address, and then the warehouse is a former TMX facility that has been turned into an industrial place with multiple companies leasing space and not one had any kind of signage...then the Otis lady was calling me nonstop wondering why I wasn't there. I kinda let loose a little on her inaccurate delivery location.(The address she gave was a fire department building). I told Toledo, today was it, put me back on OTR and to NEVER send me to this place again. Makes me miss delivering reefer freight to grocery warehouses.

-update- Toledo said they can't get a replacement for me until Wednesday, so I am stuck on this crap for 1 more day.

Not quite younger as I'm 75 now. Started driving an A40 gas, duplex, graduated up to B61 gas 707 and diesel w/duplex 10 spd. and 15 spd. triplex so the R model with the 300 Maxidyne was heaven.

An R model was what I learned to drive on. "Armstrong" steering, torsion bar seat suspension, positive ground wiring, camelback suspension, no air ride anything, 2-55 a/c (that's 2 windows down and drive 55 mph for you young drivers)...but it NEVER left me on the side of the road due to a sensor or electronic malfunction, mainly because it didn't have any sensors or anything electronic on it. 5 speed Maxidyne...where you learned to float gears or you didn't shift.

I’m sorry your first day didn’t go smoothly, it is Otis after all.

sounds like an opportunity to fix the problem so the next guy doesn’t have to deal with the same crap. A few simple maps sent to Lisa with the correct info would make things much better.

I’ve worked with Lisa for quite some time. She was one of my FM’s for the first two years here. I’m sure she didn’t send you the wrong address on purpose, most likely the customer gave her the wrong info and no driver tried to correct the info. I might be completely wrong.

It was 100% Otis. They gave me the address, and the yard guy (Jack) sent me an Apple maps pin with a different address. The Otis lady's address sends you to a fire station on a driveway that leads to a city soccer field. The customer is on the other side of the soccer field, but you can't see the building from the main road so you don't know it is there. And if you look down on a Google Maps overhead view, it isn't clear if it's a thru road or a locked gate. (It ended up being an open gate). I don't blame Lisa at all, she did all she could from Toledo. All the Otis lady would have had to do is say go past the fire station and soccer field and you're there. But like you said, it's Otis. I have NEVER had a good experience with Otis, it's one of the few customers we have that I detest pulling for. Honestly I couldn't care any less if we lost their account forever. And it didn't help when you start the day with a Samsara #### up, or should I say another Samsara #### up. I did a 40 hour restart, but it screwed it up...and Drew is on vacation, so it won't be fixed right away.

Ha ha, not quite younger, I've got 6 years on you, 82 rapidly arriving at the end of the year, but nice to watch the youngsters wrestling with electronics isn't it? ;)

Shoot, the horse has not only left the barn, but been processed into glue and used to glue stuff together...but I still long for the old days.
